Your health data stays on your iPhone. We run no ads, use no trackers, and sell nothing about you. The only personal information we ever store on a server is the email address you use if you choose to create an optional community account.
All of it is stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes this data.
With your permission, UltimateFit reads active energy, steps and exercise minutes from Apple Health to adjust your daily calorie budget. This data is processed on your device only, is never sent to any server, and is never used for advertising or shared with anyone.
If you create an account (email one-time code), we store: your email address, and the foods you choose to share with the community (name, brand, barcode, nutrition values). Shared foods become publicly visible to other users. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Settings → Community account → Delete my account); this permanently removes your email and personal records. Foods you shared that were approved remain in the database without any link to you.
Accounts and shared foods are hosted on Supabase infrastructure. Sign-in code emails are delivered via Resend.
When you scan a barcode or search for packaged foods, the app queries the public Open Food Facts database (data under the Open Database License). Only the barcode number or search text is sent — never your identity or diary.
UltimateFit provides estimates for healthy adults and is not a medical device or medical advice. Consult a doctor before major diet changes, especially with a medical condition, while pregnant, or under 18.
